For instance it seems very sturdy, and it folds up and can be carried very easily. It's very handy to have around the house indoors and out - that's what I got it for. But it seems to be made for young children. I am a small female adult and I can't sit comfortably on the seat. I have to use a couple of wide cushions that cover the metal bars that are at the sides so they don't dig into my bones so badly, though I can still feel the bars through the cushions. How wide is your bottom? There are only 11 inches on the stool's seat between the bars. I would think someone with a naturally well-padded bottom would be more comfortable on this stool than a person with a slender close-to-the-bone bottom like mine, because a plumper person's bones might not press into the metal bars. I found I can get around this problem if I turn the stool so that the bars are in front and back instead of on the sides, but in order to sit on it this way, you must... I bought it to use a few times while camping and fishing, but I find myself using it more and more around the house.
