This LED light is so much better than the one I have been trying to use for finding cat stains in my house. My older device was so dim, I would find myself crawling in the pitch dark trying to use it. No more. This 41 LED UV flashlight is SO bright I can use it any time of the day and I don't have to stoop down or bend over to use it. My house smells so much better. This device is worth the price. It is also built very well, anodized this, and silcone that. It looks like it will last a long time. I'd like to think that maybe I'm trying to use the light for a purpose other than what it was designed for, but the description states that ultraviolet light causes pet stains to glow. Who knows - maybe we also have the one cat whose pee doesn't glow under UV light, but I don't think so.On the upshot, I really like the way the light is built. It's very solid and well-made, and has a strong beam. My kids have had a blast running around the house making things glow. There is a "medium" beam (all but the outside ring of LEDs lit) and a "high" beam (all LEDs lit), but I honestly can't tell the difference.
