5.0 out of 5 stars awesome sleeping pad, May 9, 2011

This pad is 25 inches wide and 48 inches long. Weighs 1 pound.

I recently used it on an overnight camping trip. Placed it on top of another pad ( Astro Ultralight Camping Foam Mat full length, .25 inches thick, weighs 4 ounces) and the NeoAir Trekker pad kept me super comfortable all night. I am a side sleeper and only inflated the pad enough to keep my hip off the ground. A side benefit to not inflating fully is that I can leave it inflated in the tent and kneel on the pad without worrying about stressing it. The Trekker model does not have a noticeable "crinkel" sound when moving around on it.

Note:
I strongly recommend getting an "Instaflator" for inflating any small air mattress. From previous mattresses I have owned, after "a few" times of inflating a mattress by mouth, I just don't want to get my... Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars new design, still has pin leak problem, October 31, 2011
While i love the support the horizontal design provides, the durability of this thing still sucks. It lasted 4 months before a leak developed, about as long as the previous yellow version, and detecting the leak was just as elusive and pointless as well. No rock punctures (tarp under the mat and under the tent) and its not a matter of excessive humidity as i use a garbage bag to inflate and top off with a puff or two. And still considering that these things have this flaw, no repair kit included! at least with the foam types you are left with some resemblance of cushioning when they deflate as opposed the bone chilling alarm clock the neo air trekkers provide on failure. unless you have an rei membership where you can perpetually return for a new one, do NOT BUY.

4.0 out of 5 stars perfect for backpacking, September 28, 2011
I purchased the 20x72 neotrekker and I also have a thermarest trail lite sleeping pad the same size. First off I really like the weight and size when you pack this sleeping pad down, small and light weight! It took me about 2minutes to blow the pad up, the pad is rectangle shape and is not tapered like the trail lite model. Comfort for the trekker I would rate 4 out 5, trail lite I rate at 3.5 out of 5.

The material the pad is made out of slightly heavier than the neoair( lighter weight green model) which is the primary reason I picked the trekker instead, Ive read many complaints about the neoair popping the air chambers and leaking air. The trekker only weighs like 4oz more than the orignal neoair, IMO I would rather have a stronger-longer lasting pad. One thing for sure though your going to have to be careful with this model still, dont plan on throwing this down on a bunch of sharp rocks and expect it to last...It can easily be punchured so as with any air mattress...
