I love Columbia stuff, so I got these Columbia Women's Sandy River Cargo shorts.The pros are that they're extremely lightweight and cool, and the length provides perfect coverage. (I don't like shorts that are too short when I ride mass transit.) The cons are that the have NO BACK POCKETS and the front cargo pockets are very small. I am quite slim--5'6 and 115 lbs, and the Small size is way too loose for me at the waist. (If you were an "apple" shape they might be ok for you.) The looseness is ok when I don't have anything in the pockets, but when I have all my stuff in them, their combined weight pulls my pants down! (The included belt is only minimally helpful.)
